Casa Janna is a boutique guesthouse and home restaurant in the hills of Le Marche, where creative wellbeing and food culture shape everyday life
A restored convent turned rural home in the Italian countryside you step into a way of life already being lived
Stay at Casa Janna
Casa Janna offers three independent accommodations across the property, hosting up to eight guests in total.
Each space is designed for privacy, comfort, and quiet, while remaining connected to the shared life of the house. This scale allows us to host guests with the same care and attention we would offer family friends, while preserving privacy and calm.
What It’s Like to Stay at Casa Janna
Staying at Casa Janna means stepping into a local rhythm of living
Mornings begin with breakfast made in the house kitchen—bread baked here, vegetables pulled from the garden.
At times, the table becomes a place to gather for dinner. At others, the kitchen opens for cooking together. Rolling pasta, shaping dough, working with your hands.
The rest of the time is yours to shape. Some guests choose a sound healing session. Others swim, read, or head out to explore the surrounding hills and nearby villages. Listening to what their body needs.
The house holds space for both. Privacy when you want it—your own apartment, your own door. Connection when you're ready—shared tables, open kitchens, conversations
Outside, the hills stretch wide. The sky opens. The pool stays calm.
Conditions for slowing down. For remembering what it feels like to live at your own pace.
La Cucina
Food is central to life at Casa Janna
Cooking begins with what grows here and with carefully chosen ingredients from nearby farmers and artisans. Our reference point is the Mediterranean diet of Le Marche, understood as a practical food culture shaped by seasonality, availability, and restraint.
Meals draw from family recipes and local tradition, then evolve through technique and a contemporary, conscious approach. Bread is made by hand with natural sourdough and stone-ground ancient grains. Fermentation is slow. What reaches the table is simple, nourishing, and intentional.
Food moves between everyday nourishment and shared moments. Breakfast prepared in the house kitchen. Evenings that gather around the table. At other times, cooking becomes something to make together, guided by practice, experience, and a deep respect for the craft.
Creative Wellbeing
At Casa Janna, creativity is part of the stay
Creative processes support focus, nervous system regulation, and a quieter way of being.
Art as medicine
Alongside hospitality and food, Casa Janna offers a selected number of creative and wellbeing experiences that guests may choose to book during their stay. These include sound healing sessions, guided meditations and art-as-care practices, hosted in the main villa or outdoors, and held in small groups or one-to-one. They are designed to support focus, recalibration, and a different quality of attention, without separating them from daily life.
The house itself is shaped by principles of neuroaesthetics, with careful attention to light, materials, proportion, and rhythm. For many guests, this combination of space, creativity, and quiet becomes an essential part of their stay.
The Place
Set in the quiet rural hills of Le Marche
Casa Janna sits at the end of a winding white road, surrounded by open countryside and wide skies. The setting is calm and secluded, with long views over the hills and a clear sense of distance from noise and crowds.
La Pool
The pool opens directly onto the landscape. It is a place for swimming, reading, quiet conversation, or simply staying present with the view.
The pool is shared only with guests staying at Casa Janna and remains calm even in high season.
For individuals and small groups

Wellbeing

The seed that sees
Janna is not a person.
In the Marchigiano dialect, janna means acorn. A small, ordinary thing. Easy to overlook. Yet it carries everything needed to become an oak.
We chose this name because it resists the idea that life needs to be accelerated, improved, or redesigned. Growth doesn’t begin with ambition. It begins when something is allowed to stay long enough to take root.
Casa Janna was shaped around this idea. A place designed to allow things to settle, to deepen, and to grow at their own pace, supported by care, rhythm, and shared life.
Janna is a measure of time.

“Casa Janna was exactly what I needed. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel at ease—where the biggest decision of the day is whether to have another coffee in the garden or take a nap by the pool. The pace here is different. What truly surprised me was the food. Everything is organic, made from scratch, and you can taste the quality in every bite—from the wild bread to the garden-fresh ingredients. I ended up booking a cooking class on the spot, and it was one of the highlights of my stay. I learned so many professional!I only wish I could have stayed longer!”
